Examine the following statements and indicate to what degree you agree with them:

  • 4 - agree
  • 3 - somewhat agree
  • 2 - disagree
  • 1 - strongly disagree

Scoring

Calculate your Self-Esteem Assessment Score by adding each rating.

  • 39-55: Your self-esteem seems solid enough – keep it up.
  • 38-24: Your self-esteem is seriously low – let’s talk.
  • 23 & below: You’re critically underestimating yourself – let’s work together.

Interpreting Your Score

39-55: Solid Self-Esteem
Congratulations! Your self-esteem appears to be strong and healthy. Continue nurturing your self-worth and maintaining a positive outlook. Keep focusing on your strengths and achievements.

24-38: Low Self-Esteem
Your self-esteem is currently low, which can impact various aspects of your life. It's important to address this and work on building your confidence and self-worth. Consider seeking support from a coach or therapist to explore the underlying causes and develop strategies for improvement.

23 & Below: Critical Self-Esteem
​You are significantly underestimating your value, which can be detrimental to your mental and emotional health. It's crucial to address this immediately. Working with a professional can help you reframe your thoughts and develop a healthier self-image.

Steps to Improve Your Self-Esteem​

  • Practice Self-Compassion: Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a friend.
